6. What kind of data will be collected as part of this program and how often will data be collected from the states?

States will be asked to supply data for analysis on a regular basis to provide feedback about the impact of system, policy and procedural changes. States will be asked to provide individual-level data on Medicaid and CHIP eligibility determination, enrollment, and retention. The program will provide technical assistance to states to help improve their capacity to collect, analyze and share the data.  Data will be requested on a periodic basis to track states’ improvement.
