Alliance Aims to Cover Kids: Meeting Addresses Child Healthcare Insurance

Ashanti George-Paulin credits Louisiana Children's Health Insurance Program for her son's medical progress since he was wrongly diagnosed with autism at the age of 3.

George-Paulin was special guest at a statewide meeting of children's health-care proponents Wednesday in West Monroe. The goal of the alliance, "Covering Kids and Families," is to ensure that all eligible children and adults are enrolled in LaCHIP or Medicaid.
